Retention is customer-configurable, typically 90 days to 2 years, aligned with your regional legal requirements. Candidates can request full deletion at any time. Your account manager sets the default retention window during setup and you can change it later.
FOR CANDIDATES

Answers for candidates taking a C-Factor AI interview.

If you’ve been invited to an interview with Noor, Aly, Riya, or one of our other AI agents, you might have these questions in mind:

  • Before Your Interview
You’ll be interviewed by an AI agent, either through text chat, voice, or video, depending on which agent your employer is using. The interview is scored to help the hiring team assess your fit for the role. A human recruiter reviews the scores before any decision is made. C-Factor AI never rejects a candidate on its own.
It depends on which agent is running your interview. Aly (text/voice screening) takes 8–15 minutes. Riya (pre-recorded video) takes 15–25 minutes. Noor (structured live video) takes 20–30 minutes. Your invitation email will specify the expected duration.
Any device with an internet connection works laptop, tablet, or smartphone. For video interviews you’ll need a working camera and microphone. Text-based interviews with Aly work on any device, including on slow connections.
Yes. Treat the interview like any other. Review your resume, think about specific examples of your work, and be ready to discuss the role. For behavioural questions, the STAR framework (Situation, Task, Action, Result) helps structure clear answers. Riya includes on-screen tips during the interview to help you give your best response.
  • During Your Interview
You’re speaking with an AI agent. This is disclosed at the start of every interview no hidden AI, ever. You can also request a human interviewer if you’d prefer one. Ask through the chat or contact your recruiter directly. Requesting a human interview will not affect your candidacy.
Your progress is saved automatically. Reconnect within 24–48 hours and resume where you left off. For async video interviews with Riya, individual answers are saved as you complete them — you won’t lose earlier responses.
If you’re being interviewed by Aly (screening) or Maya (exit interviews), yes — you can switch freely between typing and voice messages. Many candidates start in text and switch to voice for questions that feel more natural to talk through. Noor uses video, Riya uses pre-recorded video, so those formats are fixed.
Retries are typically allowed, especially for Riya (async video) which offers 1–2 retries per question by default. For text-based interviews with Aly, you can always clarify or add to a previous answer. Your options are shown on-screen during the interview.
  • Your Rights & Data
Every score is linked to specific evidence in your interview — a moment in the transcript, a specific answer, a measured competency signal. You can request a written explanation of your score at any time. All scoring criteria are role-related and reviewed by our IO psychology team before deployment.
Yes, always. Data deletion is a right, not a favour. Contact us at legal@cfactor.ai with your interview reference number. Requests are processed within 30 days (usually faster) and we confirm in writing when it’s complete. This is spelled out in our Ethical AI framework.
Only the hiring team at the company you applied to. C-Factor AI does not share your data with other employers, third parties, or use it to train models without your explicit consent. Your data stays within your employer’s account.
Yes. You can request access to your score explanation and appeal decisions you believe were unfair. Contact the hiring team at the company you applied to first they own the final decision. If you believe the AI itself scored you unfairly, contact us at legal@cfactor.ai.
  • After Your Interview
Response timing depends on the hiring team at the company you applied to, not on us. Typical ranges are 2–5 business days for screening interviews and 1–2 weeks for later-stage interviews. If it’s been longer than that, follow up with the recruiter directly.
Feedback policies vary by employer. Some companies choose to share detailed scoring feedback with all candidates. Others only share it with candidates who advance. Ask the hiring team what their feedback policy is. This isn’t controlled by C-Factor AI.
You can request access to your score and its explanation from the hiring team at any time. Under GDPR (and similar frameworks in other regions) you have the right to know how automated decisions about you were made. The hiring team can share this with you directly.
